The DJI Neo is a compact, ultra-light drone designed for effortless use, especially by beginners and casual users. Weighing only 135g, it is highly portable, making it an ideal companion for travelers and vloggers. One of its standout features is its palm-launch capability—simply place it in your hand, press the mode button, and the drone will take off and begin recording autonomously. It offers six smart shooting modes, including Follow, Dronie, and Helix, which allow for cinematic shots without requiring any manual control.

The Neo comes equipped with a 12MP camera on a single-axis gimbal, capable of recording 4K video at 30fps. It provides AI-powered subject tracking, which helps to keep subjects in frame during action shots, making it ideal for capturing activities like cycling or hiking. The drone is controlled primarily through the DJI Fly app, where users can manage flight parameters and camera settings, though it is also compatible with controllers such as the DJI RC-N3 for more advanced operation.

Despite its compact size, the Neo can reach speeds of up to 29 km/h in sport mode and resist light winds up to 29 km/h, though it's best used in calm conditions.
