1. Ensure the camera is dry and clean before closing the USB Cover.
2. When using the camera in or around water, dirt or sand, ensure the USB Cover is sealed to prevent damage.
3. If water or dirt does get into the USB port or microSD slot, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not close until camera is dry and clean.
