The TB50 is the new high-capacity Intelligent Battery for the DJI Inspire 2. The Inspire 2 requires two TB50s onboard for flight. If a problem occurs with one battery, the other is able to continue flight long enough to land safely.

Compared to the TB47 in the Inspire 1, the TB50 contains a higher density cell with an overall larger capacity. Performance in low temperatures has been improved with an in-built 70W self-heating system capable of heating itself to 5°C every minute. This self-heating function can be enabled either automatically or manually. 

The updated management unit constantly monitors battery status, ensuring battery level and battery temperature are easily visible in the DJI GO app. 

The maximum flight time using dual TB50s is approximately 27 minutes with the X4S camera and 25 minutes with the X5S.
